A Basalt Fire Blanket is a fire suppression blanket manufactured from continuous basalt fiber derived from natural volcanic rock. Compared with conventional fiberglass fire blankets, basalt fiber offers higher thermal stability, improved durability, and superior performance under extreme temperatures.
The blanket extinguishes fire by cutting off oxygen, without releasing toxic fumes, melting, or dripping. It is suitable for both people-facing environments and high-risk industrial applications.

-Pull the two tabs to release the blanket.
-Hold the blanket in front of you to protect your hands and body.
-Place the blanket gently over the fire to smother it completely.
-Turn off the heat source if it is safe to do so.
-Leave the blanket in place for at least 15 minutes to prevent re-ignition.
Dispose of the blanket after use.
For clothing fires:
Wrap the blanket around the person and help them roll on the ground to extinguish flames.
